About the Founder

Josh Zigman a native of San Diego, married with two grown children has a strong commitment to the community. After graduating from UCLA in 1983 with a degree in economics, Zigman worked for 2 reputable general contractors in the industry. Then, in 1989 he decided to open his own firm. A seasoned professional in the construction industry with over thirty- four years of experience, Josh Zigman brings a strong passion for results with a focus on quality to each and every job. Through hands-on management and strong business ethics, Zigman/Shields has earned a solid reputation as one of the most successful general contractors in Southern California.
